Our hard work on the Erie County Day Care subsidy issue is paying off for families who earn up to 200 percent of the federal poverty level, which Mark Poloncarz announced will take effect on March 5, 2012. Thanks to our members for all your hard work!

VOICE-Buffalo is grateful for the support we receive from the Gamaliel Foundation. The Gamaliel Foundation and its affiliates create national issue campaigns to improve life in local neighborhoods and metropolitan regions. At a time when community organizing is in the national conversation, these issues, grown from grassroots listening campaigns, are: Immigration, Healthcare, Transportation, Jobs, and Housing. The Gamaliel Foundation continues to provide its affiliate organizations with tools to train and develop leaders and staff who create powerful statewide and local organizations.
